Sometime before the events of Stardust Crusaders, a Japanese woman with the last name Shiobana got involved with Dio.

It is unknown gay Dio hadn't killed her, however the woman would go onto give birth to Giorno Giovannathe main character of Jojo's Bizarre Adventures' fifth part Vento Aureo. Dio's sort of a composed character that could go either way. Dio learns of Jonathan's and Erina's romance and decides to ruin Jonathan's chance for love by forcefully taking Erina's first kiss.
